Nicholas S. Hoeve, DO, FACC – Cardiologist

Dr. Hoeve graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University and earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Michigan. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Adult Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship at MetroHealth Hospital (University of Michigan Health) in Wyoming, Michigan. His interests include preventative cardiology and cardiovascular imaging.

Conway McLean, DPM – Podiatry

Dr. Conway McLean is a podiatric physician practicing foot and ankle medicine in the Upper Peninsula. He has lectured nationally on surgery and diabetic care, and was a speaker at the largest podiatric medical conference in the world. Dr. McLean has taught at two different medical schools, both in the department of surgery.

He is board certified in surgery, and is trained in both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques. Also board certified in wound care, McLean utilizes a revolutionary treatment for wound healing, which is also used to treat neuropathy, the nerve problem developed by many diabetics.

He has special skills in diabetic foot care and diabetic ulcer care. Dr. McLean has authored many articles, several of which pertain to this new technology. He also has special skills in podiatric orthopedics, which is the study and treatment of gait mechanics.
