Dr. Wuest2

Stephanie Wuest, MD

Doctor of Medicine – Family Medicine

I grew up in Texas and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine Degree from Baylor University in 2008 and have spent the last 10 years primarily Downstate. I chose medicine because I wanted a career path that would challenge me and allow me to continue to grow and learn every day. I have worked in clinics, urgent care facilities, and even prison systems, which have provided me with extensive knowledge and experience in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide array of ailments. I am board-certified in Family Medicine and passionate about caring for communities and populations that are underserved.

Bridget Stoetzer, PA-C

Physician Assistant – Family Medicine

I am a born and raised Yooper. Originally from Curtis, I went to high school in Newberry, and obtained my bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University while also working as a CNA in a variety of healthcare settings. I was accepted into Grand Valley’s Traverse City Physicians Assistant (PA) program, which is designed for healthcare professionals who want to work in rural areas in northern Michigan. My goal has always been to provide healthcare in the Upper Peninsula, and my PA program provided the perfect opportunity to be able to return home. I finished my clinical training here in the UP and had a variety of rotations including family medicine, surgery, ER, mental health and women’s health.

Dylan Koenig 2

Dylan Koenig, PA-C

Physician Assistant – Family Medicine, Pediatric Specialist, Swing bed Care

I grew up here in Munising and, for all but a few years, have lived here my entire life. My wife and I both graduated from Munising High School and went on to get our Bachelor’s degrees from NMU together. I went on to Grand Valley State University for my PA degree after gaining an interest in medicine while working as a medical assistant at UPHS Marquette Pediatrics during my undergraduate career. During my PA schooling, I was able to gain valuable experience working in the Emergency Department at Munising Memorial Hospital. I returned to Munising Memorial Hospital at the first opportunity I got and am now able to provide Family Medicine services to the community I know and love. My passion in medicine is caring for people and no place in medicine has more opportunity for that than primary care. I am especially interested in healthcare as it relates to mental health, gastroenterology, and pediatrics.
