Jim Parker has served as the CEO and Assistant Administrator of several rural hospitals, and as a Director and Vice President of several health system employed multi-specialty and primary care physician and advanced practice provider groups. His teams have attained national recognition for operational, clinical, financial, and quality performance throughout his more than 25+ year healthcare leadership career. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Board Certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives, and is certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Jim and his wife Tami have been married for nearly 30 years. They have 3 young adult children. “Family is Everything and serving as CEO of Munising Memorial Hospital is an absolute honor. Kevin Carlson was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula and has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA from Marylhurst University with a Healthcare emphasis. He has over 20 years of accounting experience in a variety of roles and industries. Kevin is excited to be apart of the Munising Memorial Hospital team and looking forward to the future of the hospital.
Christi Salo has 20+ years of experience at MMH, initially starting as an RN on the medical staff and for the last 10 years as the Compliance Officer. Ms. Salo earned a B.S. degree with a psychology major in 1995. She obtained her nursing education at Bay de Noc Community College and passed the licensure test to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); she soon qualified to take (and pass) the stringent examination to become a Registered Nurse (RN). She was promoted to Chief Nursing Officer in 2016 and has excelled in this position as well.
Robin Bergamasco has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Executive Administration roles. Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management from Southwestern College. She specializes in training, development, and employee labor relations. Robin was born and raised in Munising, Michigan and served 8 years in the United States Air Force.
Robin Brown has over 30 years of experience in Nursing and leadership roles. Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northern Michigan University’s school of Nursing in 1989. She received her Masters of Nursing and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. She has held a variety of roles throughout the healthcare industry during this time with the last 7 years in Clinic Operations. Robin was raised in Munising, Michigan and graduated from Munising High School in 1983.
