Wendy Frush, RN

Chief Executive Officer

Wendy Frush has over 28 years of experience in a variety of healthcare facilities across Michigan and Ohio. Throughout her time in healthcare, she has served in several capacities as a Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Officer of Operations, Nursing Home Administrator, Nurse Consultant, and Program Director of Emergency Care and Obstetrics. Wendy has earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College along with several certifications. “I am honored to bring my expertise to such a vibrant and welcoming community. My priority is to ensure that every patient receives high quality, compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment. We are committed to fostering health and wellness throughout Alger County and beyond.”

Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer

Christi Salo

RN, Chief Nursing Officer

Christi Salo has 25 years of experience at Munising Memorial Hospital, initially starting as a Registered Nurse on the medical staff. Christi obtained her nursing education at Bay College and earned a B.S. degree in Psychology. Throughout her time at MMH, Christi has held multiple roles from Case Manager, Quality and Compliance Officer, Risk Manager, and Chief Nursing Officer. In addition to her role as Chief Nursing Officer, Christi also sits on the Michigan Center for Rural Heath’s Quality Committee and is active with the Michigan Health and Hospital Association.

Christopher Faber, MD

Chief of Staff

Dr. Faber is a board-certified Medical Doctor and has over 20 years of experience in Rural and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Faber serves as Munising Memorial Hospital’s Chief of Staff, providing valuable experience and oversight to the Medical Staff team. Dr. Faber grew up in the Chicago area and completed Medical Residency in Marquette, Michigan. “I have served local Upper Peninsula communities for the last 12+ years. I am board-certified in Family Medicine and specialize in and am passionate about Rural Emergency Medicine. I feel very lucky and proud to have an opportunity to serve the Munising area at the highest level.”

Robin Brown

Bay Care Medical Center Practice Manager

Robin Brown has over 30 years of experience in Nursing and leadership roles.   Robin earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Northern Michigan University’s school of Nursing in 1989. She received her Masters of Nursing and Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2007. She has held a variety of roles throughout the healthcare industry during this time with the last 7 years in Clinic Operations. Robin was raised in Munising, Michigan and graduated from Munising High School in 1983.

Robin Bergamasco

Director of Human Resources & Marketing

Robin Bergamasco has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Executive Administration roles in various fields. Throughout her career, Robin has earned degrees in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, and a Master’s degree in Employment and Labor Relations. She specializes in training, development, and employee labor relations. Robin was born and raised in Munising, Michigan and served 8 years in the United States Air Force.
